I'd be curious to hear what people know about the 'people leaving' topic. I've heard and seen conflicting opinions -- I would say that in the last year+, the rate of people leaving has had an obvious and tangible detrimental effect on some areas of work. On the other hand, my division leader seems to be less worried.
I think all of the topics you listed are ones people like myself (and others) are interested in hearing more about. Especially since I have little knowledge myself on the topics -- I'd like to hear from people who do.
I am using these blogs as places for discussion about high end science-neuroscience, cosmology,molecular biology and renewable energy. I am also using them as a source for resources.

As a scientist, I am working on human memory and pattern recognition and on production of energy cheaply. Both projects are out of research and in commercial development.

I know a lot about the people leaving.
Some division leaders are not worried because they will be safe even if much of the talent leaves.
In other divisions, the leaders are very worried but can't show it.
I will think about your comment and expand this answer over the next few days.
