Initial post

With the 350 layoffs announced yesterday at LANL and with the 200 more layoffs mentioned, it seemed that having a blog where people could talk about how to continue in their technical careers would be a good idea.

This talk is not limited to LANL employees but also welcomes people from other DOE or government facilities.
